Ruth and Emilia were honored with "2018 Best Children's Album" for The Spaceship That Fell in my Backyard.
The electric sound and amazing vocals of Emilia Lopez-Yañez and Ruth Weber aka Ruth & Emilia...easily elevate this duo to the top of the charts....they are one of the best children’s bands we have ever heard... Their sound is similar to the cast of Glee, while the album tells a great story about aliens and their quest for knowledge about earth and its inhabitants. “Repair the World” even won the Grand Prize in this year’s John Lennon Songwriting Competition in the Children’s category. This soundtrack would be perfect for an animated children’s show. They are most worthy of consideration for a Grammy nomination.

RUTH & EMILIA: "The Spaceship that Fell in My Backyard" is a kiddie cantata about intergalactic peace, love and under-standing, that sounds like it should be an Andy Webber rock opera? How wild is this? This duo has the chops to back it all up and it's one of the wildest things we've heard in the kid's genre. The noise level alone should keep the rug rats quiet and in shocked awe and that alone makes it worth checking out.
